Probably
most of us think stereotypically about Russians and their country. Maybe it`s
like that because of their aggressive foreign policy or something else – there is
a lot of things to dislike Russia and I would like to prove that most of them
are not true or they are exaggerated or range small regions of country.
I
have never been in Russia, but I know one person who can tell you everything
about this great country! His name is Michał Pater and he`s polish traveler form
Wrocław. Every summer he quits his job and goes ahead adventure with simple
survival equipment and one hundred polish złoty in his backpack.
He has been in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, but he`s favorite direction is eastern
Russia. He`d been there four times already and every time was much more incredible for him.
One time he went to Kamchatka Peninsula, through whole Russia. He did 12000 km!
During other trip he went there through southern countries, for example Turkey,
Kazakhstan, China and then returned home straight through Russia. But every year, one thing doesn`t change – he travels just hitchhiking! He
always talks to lot of people and shows the real magic of this country. It`s
really different than you could expect! Fortunately, Michał has recorded his
