What about a trip to Asia?

Recently, I’ve read a very interesting article about Seoul in South Korea, what inspired me to share with you some information about this country.
When you hear somewhere the following words: “South Korea”, what are you thinking about?
I suppose, that at first place it is: technology, LG group, Samsung, language, Hyundai isn’t that?

But this country is so much more than that….

First of all, when you are first time in Seoul you notice that it’s a calm town. There’s no a lot of people in the city center during the day, people aren’t in a hurry just like in the most of the biggest cities all over the world. So, we can ask: Where are all those people who live the city with 10 million inhabitants?
There are two simple answers – the first one is that they are in their cars! In Seoul, there’s more than 3 million registered cars, apart from the number of motorcycles and cars from the cities which are nearby Seoul, from where people are driving to work in Seoul.

And the second one is that they are working. You have to know that they are workaholics, because one person works on average fifty-five hours.

Seoul is also a clean city. People don’t throw out rubbish on the streets, even the small ones, such as plastic bags, wipes, cigarette butts. Smoking is forbidden in the public places. People pay attention to sort out rubbish.

The inconvenient of the city is that the food in Seoul is really expensive, for example if you want to eat a fish soup, you have to pay 150 zloty for two persons. But on the other side transport is not so expensive - you can even take a cab. There are two types of cabs. The black ones are just more expensive.
I think that maybe you’ve heard somewhere about the “Train Pushers”? It’s the most spectacular profession in the world, but in Korea and many others countries in Asia, it’s seems to be just like the others types of professions.

This are just a few curiosities about Seoul. The rest is waiting for you to discover.

So, have a nice trip!!

Alhambra of Granada

Hello!

Today I want to tell you about one of the most impressing museum in the world the museum of Alhambra which is situated in Granada.

The museum was created in 1942 as an Archaeological Museum. It’s a complex of castles, harems, and courtyards, which were built by the Islamic dynasty of Nasrid. Today it’s called the “pearl of Andalusia” and what’s more is believed that it’s a Muslim symbol of paradise and happiness in all forms on the Earth.

Even if on the first sight we can say that this castles, seems to be like all the others castles, we are wrong. That is just an illusion, because, what is the most impressing in this castles, is that the real treasure is inside of it.

The most impressing is architecture, and all decorations inside of the castles. The chambers are full of color. On the walls we can find all kind of geometric or flower’s signs, because the Arabian were fascinated by science. All of those signs create message and mystery in the same time. There are also many inscriptions that Allah is a one Good and Mohamed was his prophet. This art supposed to released us from everyday life and instead preoccupy the minds of unnecessary ideas, introduced in oneiric levitation.
We can say that Alhambra is a labyrinth because if we are in a castles which is surrounded by yard and we want to go from one room to another, we have to cross the long corridor. What’s interesting, every room is different and it doesn’t have any special doorway.
The museum has seven halls, the first hall houses thematic exhibitions and the other halls are located in chronological order.

This museum it’s something more than just exhibitions and paintings. Every element of it has his own history and meaning. Visiting Alhambra can be a great lesson of history.

Did you know that for over seven hundred years Spain was predominately Muslim society, living under Muslim’s rules?

Monaco - "European Last Vegas"

Hi there!

Today I want you to don’t look outside the window because it’s quite cold and gloomy in PoznaÅ„, and let your imagination move you to Monaco! Yes, that’s right Monaco is our destination today!

Even if this country is more than two thousand kilometers from Poland we have something in common, for example ours flags are very similar, there’s only one difference – the order of colors. The other is that the principal religion is Catholicism, just like in Poland.

So we can ask: Why is this country so special?

Well, it’s a place in which we can break away from everyday life and where the time could stop. Exactly one year ago I have been there with my boyfriend just for one day because I didn’t have more days off, and when I bought a ticket I had said to myself that one day is enough to visit the most important things because it’s a small country, but I was wrong… It’s not for reason that people are saying of it “a European Las Vegas”. It’s the most amazing place I have ever been!

First of all Monaco is situated at the Riviera coast, so the people are living in a beautiful panorama of see, luxurious ports, huge buildings and rocks. The last one is the most impressing, because in Monaco there are many places which are situated in rocks, for example the railway station. It is at the bottom of the rock which is having 10 floors up! When we saw that we were so amazed that we were there almost one hour, admiring this architecture (apart from the time which we had spent on searching of the exit)

The most remarkable is that when you are walking through the city, you notice that everything is very enjoyable and well-maintained, people are well-dressed. Even if you are walking by a park during lunch break you see that everyone is smartly dressed. You just can feel a class all around you and what is obvious you fell that the money rules the country.
Monaco has also a long history, which concern the royal family. When you are there you can admire the royal palace and all the royal buildings which are located on a rock.
I think that maybe you’ve heard something about Oceanographic Museum of Monaco? If not you should know that it’s a “Monumental jewel” envisioned by the Prince who pictured a veritable "Palace". The Oceanographic Museum is one of the masterpieces of the country's identity.  You can see there a lot of historical and scientific exhibitions. What’s more there are a big underwater aquarium where you can see a lot of different species of animals, starting with sharks. Maybe you wouldn’t believe in it, but you can even touch a shark! Yes, it’s really possible!

I’ve told you only about some things which were really remarkable during my trip, but there are much more!! Monaco it’s really amazing! I will certainly go there once more to forget about my duties and to live a moment…
